Omschrijving
J2L Impressive Star (aka ‘Sterretje’) is een prachtig en getalenteerd dressuurpaard uit onze eigen fokkerij. Zoals alle veulens van onze stammoeder Zafeda, heeft ook deze merrie een aparte manier van lopen. Ze stamt af van de predicaatrijke Otrichta stam (maar liefst 4 generaties ster en preferent). Verder heeft ze ook een top karakter.
Deze merrie heeft een ondertredende achterhand, loopt heel gemakkelijk voorwaarts, is heel bewerkbaar en is super gemakkelijk in de aanleuning.
Impressive Star is halfzus van J2L Lamborghini (v. Bon Bravour op 6-jarige leeftijd succesvol niveau junioren met Laura Luyten en op 7-jarige leeftijd deelgenomen aan het WK Jonge Paarden voor België, in 2020 Belgisch Kampioen Young Riders en nu internationaal lichte tour niveau).
Deze merrie werd in 2016 zadelmak gemaakt. Begin 2017 beviel ze van een prachtig merrieveulen van Giovanni (J2L Lucky Star). Einde 2017 kwam zij opnieuw onder het zadel, nu met het oog op een carrière in de dressuursport.
Deze chique merrie kreeg het predicaat ‘ster’ in september 2018 met 80 punten voor beweging. Ze werd ook geselecteerd voor de centrale keuring bij KWPN. Op deze Centrale Keuring in 2019 liep ze naar de overwinning (zie artikel horses.nl)
Deze getalenteerd dressuurmerrie maakte in oktober 2020 haar wedstrijddebuut onder het zadel van Laura Luyten in de Belgische niveau 3 proeven. En met succes want samen wonnen ze gelijk de beide proeven met meer dan 70 %. In februari 2021 kwam deze combinatie voor het eerst aan de start op nationaal niveau 4 en dit leverde meteen een score van 70 % op. Hiermee behaalde Impressive Star meteen ook de predicaten Keur en Sport en ondertussen kreeg ze ook het Elite predicaat. Op het Belgisch kampioenschap 2021 werd Impressive Star 3e in de kür op muziek in niveau 4. In 2022 maakte ze haar debuut in de Prix St. George om niet veel later haar debuut te maken op Inter I niveau. Op het Belgisch Kampioenschap behaalde ze een knappe 4e plaats in de Lichte Tour en dit na slechts 2 wedstrijden op lichte tour niveau! In de zomer van 2022 zal deze talentvolle merrie haar internationaal lichte tour debuut gaan maken.

Zo trots op Lamborghini die deze week weer alles heeft gegeven 🤩 In de inter 2 werden we 2de met 69%, de U25 en de freestyle wonnen we met 70,5 en 74,3% 🎉💪🏻🏆
Ook Impressive Star heeft het beste van zichzelf gegeven! In de PSG hadden we nog een grote fout maar in de inter 1 werden we 2de met 70,2% en in de kür werden we 3de met 73% 💪🏻🤩 Jammer genoeg kwamen we net te kort om brons te halen in het eindklassement maar ik ben alsnog super trots op de progressie die we gemaakt hebben! 😍
Ook nog een dikke proficiat aan lammenslauranne 🥈en surayahendrikx 🥉
