J2L Laura Ashley is de eerste dochter uit onze ELITE BWP MERRIE Fonda v/h Gestelhof (wedstrijdnaam J2L First Lady). Haar moeder was in het bezit van het E, G en P-label en werd op 5-jarige leeftijd nationaal kampioen exterieur bij BWP. Jammer genoeg overleed zij totaal onverwacht in september 2018.
Deze Bon Bravour merrie heeft veel weg van haar moeder zowel qua karakter als qua gangen. Laura Ashley behaalde bij BWP ook het E-label.
Laura Ashley is vooral bekend omwille van haar uitmuntende resultaten in de cyclus 6-jarigen. In 2017 won ze meerdere cycluswedstrijden bij de jonge paarden onder het zadel van Gert Helsen. Ze heeft 3 goede gangen (met een uitmuntende stap), veel looplust en is heel bewerkbaar. Ze is heel braaf en betrouwbaar zowel onder het zadel als in omgang.
In april 2021 maakte ze haar debuut in de Prix St-Georges. Ze behaalde gelijk een 2e plaats met 68,6%!
Vanaf 2022 zal Laura Ashley haar carrière verderzetten in de fokkerij.
PS: via embryo transfer heeft zij in 2021 een veulen gekregen van de elite-hengst Hofrat, J2L Vin Diesel.

J2L Dressage Horses always has been a family business ❤️. Over the years our oldest daughter @jolien_luyten however decided to stop riding and to focus on the training of American miniature horses as a hobby. Having her first working experience after graduating as a Master in Applied Economics, the blood however seems to be thicker than water 👊
Jolien recently decided to join our family business on a professional basis. Last week, she took over the stable management from her father. She will concentrate on breeding, training and selling the horses 🐴. Furthermore she is working on a business plan with some crazy new deessage ideas for 2021 👀❓
